It's ironic that almost every '90s kid who watched ABC's 'Boy Meets World' knows who 21-year-old Sabrina Carpenter is. After all, the star is only 21, and yet, fans of the throwback show know her from the spinoff, 'Girl Meets World.'
On Disney's show, which she co-starred on with another Disney darling, Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina played Maya Hart, the BFF of Cory and Topanga's daughter, Riley. But she also had a ton of other Disney jobs before — and during — her run on 'Girl Meets World.'
For one thing, Sabrina voiced a character on 'Phineas and Ferb' (though what Disney star hasn't?), voiced Princess Vivian on 'Sofia the First,' and then voiced a recurring character on 'Milo Murphy's Law.'
Once 'Girl Meets World,' ended, though, Sabrina's star seemed to fade a bit, though she's not yet a Disney star fans have forgotten was ever on the channel.

So what has she been up to, and is she still tied to Disney?
Though she's no longer a regular on the Disney channel, Carpenter is still acting. She's been in a few movies since 'Girl Meets World' wrapped, and she's also had some cameo appearances and voice roles on Disney.
Beyond that, though? Sabrina is pretty much another pop sensation vying for the same fan base as singers like Olivia Rodrigo (also a Disney starlet) who also hangs out with teen idols like Joey King.
There's been plenty of drama recently, in fact, because Sabrina released a song that fans interpreted as throwing shade at a track by Olivia Rodrigo that... also threw shade?
Anyway, the drama only propelled Sabrina farther into the spotlight — not that she needed it. Post-Disney, Carpenter has become another social media influencer/idol like many other stars her age. Fans can almost think of her as the next Dove Cameron.
She's also been on Broadway a la Dove, with 2020's 'Mean Girls.'
While the Broadway debut was iconic, Sabrina has other various credits to her growing career. For one thing, she opened for Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour. And though that drama with Olivia followed her latest single, "Skin," Carpenter has already released four albums.
Oh, and she also recently got her first tattoo. Clearly, Sabrina's Disney days are behind her. Well, to a certain extent. She recently shared on Instagram that she'll soon be producing and starring in a Netflix musical of 'Alice in Wonderland.' How's that for coming full circle with her Disney roots?
But don't forget that Sabrina also dances. She was in a movie entitled 'Work It,' and honestly, that's all she seems to have been doing since leaving the 'Girl Meets World' set.
