Jamie Lynn Spears Accused Britney Spears Charged At Her For A Knife

Jamie Lynn Spears appeared on Nightline to promote her book "Things I Never Said" in January. Jamie Lynn alleged her Grammy-winning older sister once locked the pair in a room and chased her around with a knife.

In her book, Jamie Lynn described Britney's behavior as "erratic, paranoid and, spiraling." The alleged knife incident was revealed during an interview with reported Juju Chang. Jamie Lynn said: "I was scared. That was a moment I had. I also was fearful to really say anything because I didn't want to upset anybody, but I also was so upset that she didn't feel safe."

Britney Spears 2003 Diane Sawyer Has Been Heavily Criticized

Britney Spears fans have demanded veteran journalist Diane Sawyer apologize to her. The outrage came after the airing of the documentary Framing Britney Spears last year. The expose explores the dark side of the 40-year-old singer's fame. From her rise as a small town Southern girl, to her pop princess world domination.

Viewers then see the Grammy winner's downfall and follow the singer's heartbreaking 2007 breakdown and her father Jamie's controversial 13-year conservatorship.

The documentary also shone a light on the #FreeBritney movement. Sawyer, 75, interviewed Britney in 2003, after her very public break-up with fellow teen star Justin Timberlake. Sawyer played a clip of Maryland's First Lady Kendall Erlich saying that "if she had an opportunity to shoot Britney Spears she would."

Elrich later apologized for the outrageous statement. However veteran journalist Diane appeared to gently justify the harsh and shocking statement. Almost implying the hitmaker's "revealing" clothes were a "bad influence" on children. Britney seemed visibly shocked at the remark, but managed to rebuff the argument by saying: "I’m not here to, you know, babysit her kids."

The interview also focussed on Britney and Justin's high profile breakup. He all but accused his ex of cheating on him when he released his hit track "Cry Me A River." The video to the track had a Britney lookalike reaping the consequences of her infidelity.
