12 He’s Been Accused Of Robbery
In 2014, a woman came forward accusing Justin of trying to steal her cell phone in a series of bizarre claims. Ultimately, the Los Angeles district attorney decided not to press charges, citing not enough sufficient evidence.
11 He’s Used Racist Language
In 2014, TMZ published a video of Justin changing the lyrics to his early hit “One Less Lonely Girl” to include the n-word as well as multiple references to the Ku Klux Klan. In the clip, he sings, “There’ll be one less lonely n*****” and adds “If I kill you, I’ll be part of the KKK.”
Another video that was later released showed the singer making racist jokes.
Justin later issued an apology statement over the original video, saying, “As a young man, I didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was okay to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance.”

10 He Smuggled An Animal Into Europe
One of Justin’s most bizarre scandals was when he was caught with a capuchin monkey in Munich, Germany in 2013. The exotic animal was illegal, so authorities confiscated it. The German government later requested Justin pay for the monkey’s upkeep (it was moved to a local zoo).
9 His Offensive Anne Frank Comments
Justin made an offensive comment when he visited the Anne Frank House in the Netherlands in 2013. When signing the guestbook, he wrote, "She would have been a Belieber,” which many people found to be insensitive.
8 His Legal Issues Over Driving
Justin’s driving has gotten him in trouble on numerous occasions. In June 2015, he was found guilty of assault and careless driving by a Canadian judge, after the singer crashed his ATV into a minivan the year prior.
Prior to that, he was charged with a DUI in January 2014 after being picked up in Miami. He later pleaded guilty to the charges.

In 2014, Justin was accused of egging a neighbor's house, which got him charged with vandalism. The singer entered a plea deal and was given two years of probation. He also had to complete anger management classes, perform community service, and pay over $80,000 to the affected neighbor.

In 2017, Beverly Hills police issued a statement confirming that Justin had struck a paparazzo with his truck while trying to get away following an event. Footage also showed the singer trying to help the injured paparazzo after the collision.
2 He Almost Got Deported
Justin was born in Canada, so when he was at the height of his controversial behavior in the early 2010s, an online petition began circulating calling for his deportation. The petition was hosted on the White House’s official website and racked up 273,000 signatures, though Justin was never actually deported from the U.S.
