BTS and James Corden have put their awkward exchanges behind them in an unusual way: by disrupting LA traffic with a Crosswalk Theater performance.

The K-pop group joined the host of 'The Late, Late Show' for his long-running musical bit on December 16. On Crosswalk Theater, Corden gets his guests to run out on a crosswalk during a red light and perform till the light turns green, much to the surprise of bored drivers.

In the clip, BTS members V, Jungkook, Park Ji-min, Jin, Suga, RM, and J-Hope performed their hits, "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and "Dynamite".

Corden is seen directing the show from afar, while some drivers have no clue what is going on and others (clearly BTS fans) come out of the vehicles and dance to the music.

Before this amusing clip, things got a little uncomfortable between the English presenter and the South Korean group. It all started with some comments made by Corden that have enraged the group's fan base, known as BTS Army.

Earlier this year, the host found himself in trouble when he made a joke about the boy band and their fans, calling them a bunch of "15-year-old girls". Needless to say, Corden was targeted by Army on social media for that comment.

What Went On Between BTS And Corden?

The incident was brought up again when the K-pop stars guest starred on Corden's talk show on November 23.

On that occasion, RM called out Corden for what he had said about Army, and asked him how he was doing after being in "hot water".

"James, how are you? You have been in some hot water with Army. Are you all right?" RM asked the comedian in his studio.

Corden recapped the incident for the audience, saying: "We did two jokes which I didn't think were in any way offensive to anybody."

He continued, "And we said this was where I think it was wrong, we said that your fans were 15-year-old girls."

Corden then tried to preserve his dignity in front of the K-pop group and his audience by saying he, a grown man, was a huge fan of BTS and their music.

"It, of course, isn't true because I'm 43 years old and I consider myself one of the biggest BTS fans on planet Earth," he said.

It looks like it worked as BTS appeared on his show again a month later to, well, block traffic with him. Well played, James.
