Some enjoyable coming-of-age tales revolving around roller skating have come out within the past two decades, such as ATL and Roll Bounce. Roll Bounce came out in 2005 and starred rapper Bow Wow as Xavier, a teenager growing up in 1970s Chicago. His obstacle is learning to cope with his mom's death, so he turns to roller skating as an outlet. If you're in the mood to experience nostalgia and you want to watch a feel-good movie layered with 1970s jams, Roll Bounce might be worth revisiting.
